On August 1, 2024, at approximately 9:00 p.m., officers responded to the area of Townsend Avenue and Victory Avenue in Brooklyn for a report of gunshots. Responding officers located several shell casings on the ground and discovered a silver Honda Pilot that had sustained damage from a fired projectile. Weapons Violation - Severn

On August 1, 2024, at approximately 12:20 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a blue Acura in the 1100 block of Reece Road in Severn. During the stop, the officer seized a loaded Springfield handgun from a passenger of the vehicle. The passenger, who is prohibited from possessing firearms, was arrested and charged.
