Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash - Crofton

On August 20, 2024, at approximately 6:35 a.m., Western District officers responded to Priest Bridge Road at Defense Highway for a single-vehicle crash. The investigation revealed a 2017 Ford Transit 250 van was traveling northbound on Priest Bridge Road approaching Defense Highway when, for unknown reasons, the Ford left the right-hand side of the roadway and struck a tree. The driver was transported by Anne Arundel County Fire Department personnel to Baltimore Washington Medical Center and pronounced deceased at the hospital. This crash is under investigation by the Traffic Safety Section.
