Weapons/CDS Violation - Glen Burnie

On August 26, 2021, at approximately 6:15 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop of a black GMC Yukon at Hidden Brook Drive and Crain Highway South in Glen Burnie. Upon approaching the vehicle and speaking with the driver, the officer noticed the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The investigation led to a search of the vehicle resulting in the seizure of a Taurus G2C 9mm semi-automatic handgun loaded with 12 rounds of ammunition, 28.3 grams of suspected marijuana edibles, and CDS paraphernalia. The driver was arrested and charged accordingly.
