Destruction to Auto; Gunshots Fired / Glen Burnie

On August 2, 2020 at approximately 6:55 a.m. officers responded for a destruction to auto in the 6400 block of Jefferson Place in Glen Burnie. Officers met with the victim who reported they heard gunshots at approximately 4:15 a.m. and saw the rear window of their vehicle, a black Chrysler 300, had been shattered. Closer inspection revealed a projectile within the vehicle and a shell casing on the ground nearby. Assault; Gunshots Fired / Glen Burnie

On August 2, 2020 at approximately 7:25 a.m. officers responded to the Glen Burnie Courthouse for a report of an assault. The adult male victim was leaving the Willows community when an unknown suspect fired gunshots at him, striking his vehicle multiple times. Officers located several spent shell casings in the roadway near where the assault occurred. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. Northern District detectives are investigating this incident and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-6135 or the TipLine at 410-222-4700.

Motor Vehicle Tampering (Arrest) / Brooklyn

On August 1, 2020 at approximately 12:10 a.m. officers responded for a report of a suspicious person tampering with vehicles in the 5600 block of Liberty Terrace in Brooklyn. The reporting person observed the suspect in their vehicle. The suspect fled and was followed by the victim. Shots Fired / Glen Burnie

On August 2, 2020 at approximately 10:40 a.m. officers responded for a report of gunshots fired in the area of 450 Old Quarterfield Road in Glen Burnie. A witness observed an unknown male suspect on the sidewalk adjacent to 450 Old Quarterfield Road exchanging gunfire with another male suspect who was a passenger of a gold Chevrolet Suburban traveling westbound on Old Quarterfield Road. Several gunshots were fired by both suspects. No injuries were reported Officers observed damage on a 2016 silver Hyundai Veloster and a 2014 silver Honda Accord believed to be caused by the gunfire. Commercial Robbery / Pasadena

On August 2, 2020 at approximately 12:50 a.m. officers responded for a robbery at the 7-Eleven store located at 8930 Fort Smallwood Road in Pasadena. An unknown male suspect entered the store and held a screwdriver against the back of the store clerk and demanded cash from the register. The clerk complied and the suspect fled with an undetermined amount of cash. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. Assault / Hanover
20-724177

On July 31, 2020 at approximately 10:50 p.m. officers responded for an assault in the 7000 block of Arundel Mills Circle in Hanover. A female suspect attempted to bypass the entry line to the establishment. When approached by security personnel, the female became disorderly and began swinging a knife at the security personnel. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.
