Theft from Auto - Glen Burnie

On August 30, 2023, at approximately 2:00 p.m., officers responded for a report of a theft from auto that occurred earlier in the 800 block of Elfin Court in Glen Burnie. When officers made contact with the victim, the victim advised that he positively identified tools that were stolen from his vehicle on Facebook Marketplace. The victim advised officers that he arranged to meet the suspect to purchase his stolen property back. Officers assisted by the victim met with the suspect, and the victim positively identified his stolen items in the suspect’s possession. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly. During their investigation, detectives learned that the suspect had a storage unit in the 200 block of 8th Avenue in Glen Burnie. Detectives authored and executed a search warrant on the storage unit where they located additional stolen property. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.
