On August 5, 2022, at approximately 12:00 p.m., an officer heard multiple gunshots fired in the area of Meade Village Road and Meade Village Circle in Severn. Several buildings and parked vehicles were struck by projectiles. Numerous spent shell casings were recovered from the scene. No injuries were reported. On August 5, 2022, at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers responded for a report of gunshots fired in the 8200 block of Stewarton Court in Severn. An occupied home and a parked, unoccupied vehicle were struck by projectiles. No injuries were reported. Officers located several spent shell casings on the ground.
