Armed Robbery (Citizen) / Glen Burnie

On August 8, 2021, at approximately 9:15 a.m., officers responded to the 7800 block of Burton Court for an armed robbery of a citizen that just occurred. The victim advised that she had given three males a ride to the location from Baltimore City for cash. When they arrived at the destination, and she asked for her fare, one of the men pulled out a black handgun and pointed it at her. The victim fled the area and called 911. Officers canvassed the area and were able to locate all three suspects who were positively identified. The following suspects were charged and seized the below evidence.

On August 9, 2021, at approximately 12:25 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop of a silver Nissan in the area of Townsend Avenue and Kramme Avenue in Brooklyn Park. Upon speaking with the driver, officers observed a suspected Xanax pill on the driver’s seat. The driver was placed into custody and found to be in possession of 24 capsules of heroin, 20 vials of suspected crack Cocaine, 9 suboxone strips, 51 Xanax pills, and 57 Clonidine pills. The driver was arrested and charged.

On August 7, 2021, at approximately 10:20 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop of a gray 2007 Buick on Route 100 near Coca-Cola Drive in Hanover. Two subjects occupied the vehicle. When the driver opened the glove compartment to retrieve the vehicle registration card, the officer observed the muzzle of a handgun. A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of an 80 Polymer PF45 “ghost gun,” 96 assorted suspected Oxycodone and Xanax pills. Both occupants were arrested and charged accordingly.

On August 7, 2021, at approximately 6:20 p.m., officers were patrolling in the area of Pioneer Drive and Arwell Court when they initiated a traffic stop of a silver Toyota Corolla. Upon speaking with the driver, the officers received information that led to a search of the vehicle resulting in the seizure of a loaded .22 caliber handgun. The driver was arrested and charged accordingly.
