Robbery (Citizen) - Brooklyn Park

On December 10, 2024, at approximately 7:40 p.m., officers responded to the 1000 block of Cayer Drive in Glen Burnie for a report of a robbery. Upon arrival, officers learned that the 20-year-old female victim was robbed at gunpoint in the 5200 block of Kramme Avenue in Brooklyn Park of an item she was attempting to sell through Facebook Marketplace. Northern detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to call 410-222-6135 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.

- Male, wearing a ski mask (handgun)
- Unknown male

If you plan to purchase items using e-commerce sites or apps and have to meet in person to complete the transaction, please consider the following safety tips:
- Insist on a public meeting place. Do not meet in a secluded place.
- Do not enter someone else’s house or allow them into yours.
- Complete the transaction during daylight hours.
- Be especially careful when buying/selling high-value items.
- Consider making exchanges at one of our Safe Transaction Zones
- Take your cell phone along if you have one.
- Have someone accompany you and tell others where you're going.
- Trust your instincts.
