On December 12, 2023, at approximately 1:30 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a silver Dodge Charger in the area of Annapolis Road and westbound Route 32 in Severn for a registration violation. Throughout the course of the traffic stop, probable cause for a search of the vehicle was established. A loaded Polymer80 handgun was located under the driver’s side seat. The driver was arrested and charged accordingly.
