Attempt Commercial Robbery/ Glen Burnie

On December 17, 2020 at approximately 12:30 a.m. officers responded for an attempted robbery at the 7-Eleven Sore located at 705 Greenway Road East in Glen Burnie. An unknown male suspect, entered the store, requested a tobacco product, but was refused the transaction when he was unable to provide identification. The male suspect left the store but later returned and threatened the clerk with a handgun, demanding merchandise. The clerk did not comply and the suspect fled the store on foot in an unknown direction. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. The store clerk was not injured during this incident. Robbery detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-4720 or the TipLine at 410-222-4700.
