Police Press Release - December 2, 2019

Western District
Citizen Robbery (Arrest) / Hanover
 
On December 2, 2019 at approximately 4:00 a.m., officers responded for a report of a citizen robbery on Aragorn Court near Baggins Road in Hanover. An adult male victim told officers he was walking to a store with an acquaintance when the acquaintance displayed a knife and took cash from the victim. The suspect then fled toward Ridge Chapel Road. Through investigation, officers were able to identify the suspect and locate him at his residence in Pasadena. The suspect was arrested and transported to Eastern district for processing. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.

Robbery / Gambrills
 
On November 30, 2019 at approximately 8:25 p.m., officers responded for a citizen robbery in the 1300 block of Chapel Center Drive in Gambrills. The adult male victim was walking along a path behind the Target store when he was approached by two male suspects. One of the males displayed a handgun and demanded property from the victim. The victim complied and the suspects fled with personal property belonging to the victim. The suspects then fled toward Route 3. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects. 1) unknown race male, 5’9”, 20-30 years old, thin, wearing dark clothing and face mask
2) unknown race male, 5'9", wearing dark clothing and face mask

Robbery / Odenton
 
On November 30, 2019 at approximately 9:45 p.m., officers responded for a robbery of a delivery driver at 8318 Telegraph road in Odenton. The victim was making a food delivery at a residence in the 200 block of St. Michael's Drive in Odenton when he was approached by three young males. One of the suspects displayed a handgun and demanded the food from the victim. The victim complied and the suspects fled toward Towne Center Boulevard. Officers searched the area but did not locate the suspects. It was determined that the delivery order was not made from the address where the delivery was being made. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. Detectives are investigating this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the TipLine at 410-222-4700.
