Assault - Glen Burnie

On December 19, 2022, at approximately 2:30 p.m., officers responded for a report of a shooting/assault that just occurred at the Cromwell Field Shopping Center in the 7300 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Glen Burnie. Investigation revealed that two victims were in the area when they were approached by a black male juvenile and a white female juvenile on bicycles. The male juvenile produced what appeared to be a toy firearm with an orange plastic tip and shot the victim with a gel-type projectile. During the investigation, additional victims came forward and explained that they too, were shot at by the suspect while at the shopping center. The suspect was located by officers who discovered that the firearm was an "Orbeez Gel Blaster." All of the victims positively identified the suspect, who was arrested and charged accordingly.

Home Invasion/First-Degree Assault- Glen Burnie

On December 19, 2022, at approximately 7:45 p.m. officers responded for a report of a home invasion/assault that just occurred in the 7900 block of Crain Highway in Glen Burnie. The victims stated that the suspect broke into their residence and assaulted them. The female victim explained that the suspect retrieved a large kitchen knife and pressed it against her body while threatening to kill her. The suspect fled the residence prior to the officer's arrival. The suspect was located at his residence in the 500 block of Pontiac Avenue in Brooklyn, where he was arrested and charged accordingly.
