Northern District

Citizen Robbery / Glen Burnie

 

On December 26, 2019 at approximately 12:30 a.m., officers responded for a robbery at in the 200 block of Oak Manor Drive in Glen Burnie. The victim arranged to meet with the suspect for the purpose of conducting an e-commerce sale using the LETGO app. During the transaction, the suspect attempted to flee with the victim's property. The victim pursued the suspect along Oak Manor Drive at which time the suspect displayed a kitchen knife and threatened the victim. The victim retreated and the suspect fled with the victim's property. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

Suspect: Black male, early 20's, 6'00", thin build, wearing dark clothing.

Strong Arm Robbery (Arrest Update) / Glen Burnie

 

On December 23, 2019 at approximately 10:15 p.m., officers responded for a strong arm robbery of a pizza delivery driver in the 800 block of Creekside Village Boulevard in Glen Burnie. The delivery driver was delivering food when three unknown juvenile males assaulted the delivery driver, stole cash from him and fled. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the juveniles. No weapons were used or displayed during this incident. The driver sustained minor injuries from the assault but declined treatment.

Suspects: Three juvenile black males, short, skinny, one wearing a white jacket

Update (12/27/19): Northern District Detectives were able to develop and positively identify the suspects in this case. Three juvenile males from Glen Burnie were arrested and charged with robbery. 

Northern District

Residential Burglary / Brooklyn Park

On December 26, 2019 at approximately 12:30 a.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Cedar Hill Road in Brooklyn Park for a residential burglary. The victim, an elderly female, stated that an unknown male suspect entered her home through a window. Once inside, the suspect grabbed the woman's purse and fled from the residence. Multiple officers and K-9 searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect was described as an unknown race male, wearing a dark jacket with gray hood or sweatshirt and a mask over his face. Through investigation, Northern District Detectives were able to develop and positively identify the suspect in this case. On December 26, 2019 detectives conducted a search warrant at the suspects residence. As a result, the victims purse was recovered and the suspect was arrested.  The suspect was charged with home invasion, robbery, burglary, and lesser included offenses.
