Commercial Robbery (Arrest Update) / Glen Burnie

On November 30, 2020 at approximately 4:20 p.m. officers responded to a citizen’s complaint of a possible theft. The citizen reported seeing two subjects run out of the Subway restaurant located at 6938 Aviation Boulevard in Glen Burnie carrying the cash register. The subjects entered a silver vehicle and fled the area toward Baltimore Washington Airport. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the employee who advised the subjects entered the store, threatened him with knives, and took the cash register. Robbery detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to call 410-222- 4720 or the Tip line 410-222-4700.

1) White male, wearing a red sweatshirt or vest, baggie pants, large build

2) White male, wearing a sweatshirt, baggie pants, large build

Update (12/3/20):

Through investigation and coordination with Baltimore County Robbery detectives, the suspects from this incident were identified. They were interviewed and admitted involvement in this robbery, as well as five robberies in Baltimore County. They are currently being held on no bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

On December 2, 2020 at approximately 8:20 p.m. officers observed an occupied white Volkswagen Jetta parked in the parking lot of a closed office park in the 800 block of Landmark Drive in Glen Burnie. Upon approaching the vehicle, officers observed a suspected marijuana cigarette in plain view within the vehicle. Further investigation resulted in a search of the vehicle which resulted in the recovery of a small bag containing a small amount of suspected marijuana. The driver was found to be in possession of a bag containing 26 capsules of suspected heroin/fentanyl. The driver was placed under arrest and charged accordingly.
