Weapons Offense - Annapolis

On December 3, 2023, at approximately 1:30 p.m., an officer was on patrol in the area of Forest Drive and Harker Place in Annapolis, when they were approached by a witness who observed an altercation involving a handgun. The suspect was then seen walking into the Outback Steakhouse, where he was detained by officers. The suspect had a concealed fixed-blade knife on his waist. Inside the suspect’s backpack, officers located a realistic-looking, Glock replica BB-gun, and an unloaded non-serialized 9mm privately manufactured handgun. Throughout the investigation, it was discovered the suspect was prohibited from possessing handguns. He was arrested and charged accordingly.
