Commercial Robbery / Crofton
 
On December 7, 2019 at approximately 1:50 p.m., officers responded for a robbery at the Peace of Crofton store located at 1268 Crain Highway in Crofton. A male suspect entered the store and made a small purchase. When the clerk opened the register, the suspect sprayed the clerk with pepper spray and grabbed cash from the register. The male fled south on Rt. 3 south on foot. The clerk was transported to an area hospital to be treated for exposure to the pepper spray. The Robbery Unit is investigating this incident. Suspect: Black male, 20-25 years old, 5'9", heavy build, short hair, full medium length beard wearing blue coat and blue jeans.
Citizen Robbery / Laurel
 
On December 6, 2019 at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers responded to 3400 block of old Annapolis Road in laurel for a report of a robbery. The adult male victim was in his vehicle when he was approached by an unknown male suspect. The suspect opened the victim's car door, threatened the victim with a blunt object and demanded property. The victim refused, however the suspect grabbed the victim's phone and fled. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Suspect: Black male, 40-50 years old, 5'10", medium build, wearing a baseball hat, jacket, and blue jeans.
