Assault/Shots Fired - Brooklyn Park

On February 10, 2022, at approximately 1:45 a.m. officers responded for an assault and gunshots fired in the 600 block of Church Street in Brooklyn Park. When officers arrived they found the victim restraining the suspect. The investigation revealed the suspect had retrieved a handgun from his vehicle with it pointed toward the ground. The victim attempted to take the gun away from the suspect. During the struggle, the gun was fired once in the direction of the victim, striking the ground. No one was injured. The suspect was placed into custody and charged accordingly. A revolver was recovered at the scene.

Armed Robbery - Lothian

On February 10, 2022, at approximately 12:20 p.m. officers responded to the Carroll Motor Fuel located at 5423 Southern Maryland Boulevard in Lothian for a report of an armed robbery of the business. A male suspect approached the check-out counter, displayed a handgun, and demanded cash from the register. The clerk complied and the suspect fled toward the Park and Ride on Southern Maryland Boulevard. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. On February 10, 2022, at approximately 11:45 p.m. officers responded for a robbery of a citizen in the 6000 block of Belle Grove Road in Brooklyn Park. The adult male victim was sitting in his car when a male suspect approached his vehicle, displayed a handgun, and demanded his keys and money. The victim complied and the suspect fled on foot. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. The victim’s keys were located on the ground.

Recovered Stolen Auto (Arrest) - Glen Burnie

On the morning of February 10, 2022, a vehicle was left running and unattended in front of an apartment building on Winborne Drive in Glen Burnie. Through investigation, officers were able to locate the vehicle in the 400 block of Secluded Post Circle in Glen Burnie. The vehicle was occupied by two suspects who were taken into custody and charged accordingly.
