Attempted Citizen Robbery / Glen Burnie

On February 12, 2022, officers responded to a residence for a report of an attempted robbery on the B&A Trail near 801 Aquahart Road. Officers learned that a juvenile was riding his bike when he was approached by four unknown suspects. The suspects hit the juvenile over the head with a wrench and attempted to steal his bike. The suspects did not get the bike and fled the area. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries. This incident took place at approximately 6 p.m. Northern District Detectives are investigating and ask anyone with any information to please call 410-222-6135 or the TipLine at 410-222-4700.

Commercial Armed Robbery / Linthicum

On February 13, 2022, at approximately 10:30 p.m. officers responded to the Shell Station located at 724 Nursery Road for an armed robbery. An unknown male entered the business, displayed a handgun and demanded cash from the employee.  The employee complied and the suspect fled in an unknown direction.  Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Robbery detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to call 410-222-4720 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.

Suspect: Black male, 20-25 years of age, wearing dark clothing and a mask
 

Update (March 1, 2022): Through investigation, Robbery Unit detectives were able to identify the suspect in the robbery of the Shell gas station.  On Monday, February 28, 2022, detectives charged Kenneth Lee Ross II, 30, of Nottingham, Maryland, on a warrant for his involvement in this case.
