On February 21, 2022, at approximately 9:00 a.m. officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of the I-895 and I-695 interchange. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted resulting in the seizure of approximately 7.81 grams of suspected Heroin/Fentanyl, approximately 36.79 grams of suspected Crack Cocaine, approximately 498.13 grams of suspected Marijuana, approximately 1.89 grams of suspected Hydrocodone, and approximately 1.02 grams of suspected Alprazolam. The driver was arrested and found to be in possession of a loaded 9mm FNH semi-automatic handgun. The passenger was arrested and found to be in possession of a loaded 9mm Glock 43 handgun that had been reported stolen. Both individuals are prohibited from possessing firearms.

On February 22, 2022, at approximately 2:30 a.m. officers responded for an alarm at the Tobacco Stop located at 7110 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie. Responding officers located a suspect inside the business attempting to remove merchandise. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.

On February 21, 2022, at approximately 10:15 p.m. officers responded for a carjacking that occurred in the 8000 block of Green Orchard Road in Glen Burnie. The victims parked their vehicle and two male suspects, described as Black males in their late teens, approached with handguns and ordered the victims out of the vehicle. The suspects then struck both victims in their heads with the handguns and drove off with the vehicle, a white 1999 Dodge Neon with Maryland registration 0Z3390. The victims suffered minor injuries as a result of the assault. Officers searched the area but did not locate the vehicle or suspects. On February 21, 2022, at approximately 3:15 p.m. officers observed a male yelling at an individual in a vehicle in the area of Severn Way at Pine Bluff. After further inquiry, officers determined one of the individuals wanted to fight the other over a possible road rage incident that occurred earlier. During the argument, the suspect threatened the victim, a 16-year-old, with a knife. Officers recovered the knife and arrested the suspect, who was charged on a juvenile citation.

On February 23, 2022, at approximately 12:45 a.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop of a White, 2014 Toyota Camry on Laurel Fort Meade Road near Corridor Marketplace in Laurel. Upon approaching the vehicle the officer noticed the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of a loaded 9mm Beretta APX pistol and CDS paraphernalia. The driver was arrested and charged accordingly.
