Shooting (Non-Contact) - Glen Burnie

On February 23, 2024, at approximately 1:15 a.m., officers responded for a report of gunshots in the area of Brandon Drive and Kenora Drive in Glen Burnie. Responding officers located several spent shell casings on the ground. No injuries were reported. Officers canvased the neighborhood and did not locate any damaged property caused by the fired rounds. Western District
CDS/Weapons Violation - Severn

In early February 2024, narcotics detectives with the Western District Narcotics Team received information regarding possible CDS distribution in the district. The investigation led to the execution of a search warrant on February 23, 2023, at a residence in the 1000 block of Tuscany Lane in Severn, where one suspect was arrested. The search resulted in the seizure of approximately 747 grams of suspected cannabis, approximately 364 grams of suspected Psilocybin mushrooms, eight packages containing suspected THC vape pens, a loaded Glock handgun, a .556 caliber Karris KG15 AR pistol, multiple rounds of various ammunition and magazines and $28,392 in U.S. currency. The suspect is prohibited from possessing firearms due to age.
