On February 26, 2024, at approximately 9:55 p.m., detectives were patrolling the area of Faywood Avenue in Glen Burnie when they observed a male suspect they knew to have an open arrest warrant. The male fled as detectives approached; however, he was apprehended after a short foot pursuit. The suspect was found to be in possession of 33 baggies containing approximately 14.31 grams of suspected cocaine, one gel capsule containing approximately .81 grams of suspected Heroin/Fentanyl, and CDS packaging material.

Attempted Robbery (Citizen) - Glen Burnie

On February 28, 2024, at approximately 7:40 p.m., officers responded to a citizen robbery that occurred in the area of Crainmont Drive in Glen Burnie. The adult female victim was walking to the Walgreens when she was approached by a female suspect who grabbed the victim's purse in an attempt to take it from the victim. After struggling with the suspect for several minutes, the victim was able to retain her purse and continued on her way. As the victim was returning home, she was approached by the same suspect, who again attempted to forcefully take the purse from the victim. The victim was able to prevent the suspect from taking her purse this time as well. The suspect fled. Through investigative means, officers were able to identify the suspect, who was located at her residence, where she was taken into custody.
