On February 3, 2023, at approximately 6:00 a.m. officers responded for a report of shots being fired in the 5100 block of Brookwood Road in Brooklyn. The complainant reported hearing what they initially believed to be fireworks at approximately 5:00 a.m. As the complainant walked out of their residence they observed bullet holes through the glass window of their enclosed porch. Officers located casings behind the victim's residence. There were no physical injuries reported as a result of the shooting.
