On January 8, 2022, at approximately 10:00 a.m. officers responded to the Walgreens located at 6700 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie for a report of a robbery. An unknown male presented a note to the cashier announcing a robbery and demanding money. The cashier complied and the suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. No weapons were displayed during this incident. Robbery detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-4720. The employees reported a male suspect entered the store, implied he had a weapon, and demanded cash. The employee complied and the suspect fled. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. No weapons were displayed during this incident.
