Robbery Arrest (Commercial) - Laurel

On January 6, 2025, at approximately 11:35 a.m., officers responded for a robbery of the 7-Eleven store located at 3393 Laurel Fort Meade Road in Laurel. A male suspect entered the store, implied he had a weapon and removed merchandise before fleeing in a gray sedan. A responding officer located the vehicle, a gray 2018 Nissan Rogue, and identified the passenger as the suspect in the robbery. The passenger and driver were arrested in connection with the robbery. The passenger was also identified as the suspect in two additional recent robberies and charged with his involvement of those incidents as well. One of a High’s store in Jessup on January 2, 2025 (Case # 25-700103), and another of a 7-Eleven in Laurel on January 5, 2025 (Case # 25-700491).

On January 9, 2025, at approximately 11:40 a.m., detectives assigned to the Northern District conducted a traffic stop of a white 2001 Toyota Corolla on W. Furnace Branch Road near Bedford Road in Glen Burnie. During the stop, officers conducted a search of the driver and vehicle based on probable cause, resulting in the seizure of approximately 30 grams of suspected crack cocaine packaged in 45 separate baggies, a digital scale, and $958.00 cash. The driver was arrested and charged.
