Northern District

Commercial Robbery / Glen Burnie

 

On January 15, 2020 at approximately 8:50 p.m., officers responded for a robbery at the Victra Verizon store located at 7704 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie. Two suspects entered the store, displayed handguns and forced the female store clerk into the back room. The suspects opened the unsecured safe and removed mobile phones. They also took the victim’s purse and car keys. They then fled the store on foot. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident. The Commercial and Bank Robbery Unit is investigating and are asking anyone with information to call 410-222-4720 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.

  2. Black male, 20's, 5'5", medium build wearing dark coat and jeans
  3. Black female, 20's, 5'4", medium build
 

Northern District

Shots Fired / Glen Burnie

 

On January 15, 2020 at approximately 9:20 p.m., officers responded for a report of shots fired in the area of the 100 block of Mountain Road in Glen Burnie. A 42-year-old male victim was speaking with a suspect who was known to him. The suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and then fired the handgun in the opposite direction. The victim was able to get away and the suspect fled. Officers searched the area and located the suspect on Mountain Road at Long Hill Road where he was positively identified by the victim. Officers were approached by a second victim, a 41-year-old male, who reported that the suspect also assaulted him with the handgun saying, "you look like a cop." The suspect was arrested. No injures were reported as a result of this incident. The weapon, a .38 caliber Taurus handgun, was recovered.

Eastern District

Commercial Robbery / Pasadena

 

On January 16, 2020 at approximately 4:15 a.m. officers responded for a commercial robbery at the CVS located at 28 Magothy Beach Road in Pasadena. Four male suspects (no further description) wearing masks entered the business and proceeded to the pharmacy area. One of the males sprayed pepper spray at an employee and demanded narcotics. The suspects then removed an unknown quantity of medication, including narcotics, from the pharmacy and fled in an unknown direction. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects. Robbery detectives are investigating this incident and are asking anyone with information to call 410-222-4720 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.
