Shooting (Non-Contact) - Brooklyn

On January 12, 2024, at approximately 5:55 p.m., officers responded for a shooting at the Charlie Wards located at 4607 4th Street in Brooklyn. Through video surveillance, a verbal altercation was observed between two males. The victim and black male suspect ran into the entryway of Charlie Wards, where the suspect pulled out a handgun and fired a round, which struck the ground. The suspect fled the scene in a silver sedan. The victim was not on the scene when officers arrived. An extensive area canvass was conducted, but neither of the males could be located. The victim did not appear to be injured. Northern District detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to call 410-222-6135. Black male, approximately 18 to 25 years old, 5’10”, slim build, wearing black clothing with white accents.

Robbery (Citizen) - Brooklyn Park

On January 13, 2024, at approximately 11:50 a.m., officers responded to the intersection of Ballman Avenue and Alley 25 in Brooklyn Park for a citizen robbery. The victim was approached by two Hispanic males and one black male. One of the suspects displayed a handgun and demanded property from the victim. All three suspects then fled on foot on Stanley Terrace toward Kramme Avenue. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects. 1) Hispanic male, approximately 17 years old, wearing brown clothing and a red Cardinals cap
2) Hispanic male, approximately 17 years old, wearing blue clothing, and had a long, dark braided ponytail
3) Black male, approximately 17 years old, wearing black clothing and a black skull cap

Shooting (Non-Contact) - Glen Burnie

On January 15, 2024, at approximately 2:00 p.m., officers responded for a report of damage to a residence. The victims reported that they noticed damage to the ceiling and found a spent gunshot round on their floor. The shot was fired when the residents were not home and appears to have been fired from the apartment above. Robbery (Citizen) - Severn

On January 12, 2024, at approximately 4:00 p.m., officers responded for a citizen robbery at the Severn Square Shopping Center located at 2620 Annapolis Road in Severn. The 41-year-old male victim had withdrawn funds from a bank and was approached by two white male suspects. One of the suspects displayed a long gun and demanded cash from the victim. The victim complied, and the suspect fled in an unknown vehicle. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects. Western District detectives are investigating and ask
