On January 19, 2022, at approximately 8:40 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop of a silver Ford on Fort Smallwood Road near Hilltop Road in Curtis Bay. During the stop, the officer received information that led to a search of the vehicle resulting in the seizure of a loaded 9mm Smith & Wesson semiautomatic handgun and 23 gel caps containing suspected heroin. The driver was arrested and charged accordingly.

On January 19, 2022, at approximately 7:15 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop of a black Chevrolet Camaro on Ridge Road near Twisted Oak Place in Severn. During the stop, probable cause to search the vehicle was developed resulting in the seizure of 57 grams of suspected marijuana, two tablets of suspected heroin/fentanyl, and a loaded .40 caliber Glock handgun. The driver was arrested and charged.
