1st Degree Assault - Glen Burnie

On January 19, 2023, at approximately 6:00 a.m. officers responded for a report of an assault in the 100 block of Hollins Ferry Road in Glen Burnie. During their investigation, officers learned that an argument between roommates turned physical. The victims were threatened with a sword and struck with an aluminum baseball bat. Both victims suffered minor injuries during the assault and did not require medical treatment. One of the suspects remained on the scene and was arrested and charged accordingly. The second suspect, who was identified by the victim, fled prior to the officer's arrival. On January 20, 2023, at approximately 2:00 a.m. officers responded for a report of a 911 hang-up that just occurred in the 7800 block of Willing Court in Pasadena. As officers were en route an additional call was received indicating that a victim was stabbed. The victim indicated that she was attacked by a female suspect while inside in the residence. The victim went on to tell officers that the suspect charged at her while wielding a knife and sustained superficial injuries. The suspect alleged that the victim punched her repeatedly and hit her with a nightstand. Based on statements and physical evidence both of the parties involved were arrested and charged accordingly.
