On January 21, 2025, at approximately 4:20 p.m., officers responded to a report of a stabbing that just occurred at the Sonesta Suites BWI, 1160 Winterson Road in Linthicum Heights. The investigation revealed that the incident stemmed from an ongoing dispute between two individuals known to each other. During the altercation, one individual retrieved a knife and stabbed the 49-year-old male victim. In the course of the attack, the suspect also sustained a self-inflicted injury. The Fire Department transported both parties to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center with non-life-threatening injuries. A warrant was issued, and the suspect was served upon release from the hospital.
