Theft from Auto; Tampering with Auto / Linthicum

On January 7, 2021 at approximately 1:15 a.m. Northern District officers responded for a report of a suspicious person tampering with vehicles in the 400 block of Homewood road in Linthicum. Responding officers located two suspects who had entered a vehicle and removed property. Investigation revealed the suspects had also attempted to enter other vehicles parked in the area of the 100 block of Homewood road. Both suspects were arrested and charged accordingly.

Western District
Weapons Offense/ Hanover

On January 6, 2021 at approximately 10:10 a.m. Western District officers conducted a traffic stop of a silver Nissan Versa at Route 100 at Arundel Mills Boulevard in Hanover. Investigation revealed the driver had an active warrant and was placed under arrest. The driver was found to be in possession of a loaded 9mm Kahr handgun. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of approximately 19 grams of suspected marijuana. The suspect was charged accordingly.
