On June 29, 2020 at approximately 9:00 p.m. officers responded to a residence in the unit block of Eleanor Avenue in Linthicum for a report of gunshots fired. The homeowner told officers he heard what he believed to be fireworks at approximately 4:00 a.m. Officers recovered several spent shell casings from the street near the home. No injuries or property damage were reported as a result of this incident. Attempted Theft (Arrest) / Glen Burnie

On June 30, 2020 at approximately 2:45 a.m. officers responded for an attempted auto theft at the Honey Bee Diner located at 7346 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie. The victim located a male suspect in his 2013 Chevrolet. The suspect fled but was located nearby by responding officers and was found to be in possession of suspected CDS (Crack Cocaine) and CDS Paraphernalia. The suspect resisted arrest by kicking the officers and spit at the officers as he was being transported. He was charged accordingly.

Citizen robbery / Glen Burnie

On June 30, 2020 at approximately 7:00 p.m. officers responded for a robbery of a citizen in the area of the 6700 block of Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie. Upon arrival, officers located the adult male victim who stated he had made arrangements to make a purchase from a group of unknown male suspects at the rear of the shopping center when he was assaulted by the suspects who stole the victims cash and bicycle. The suspects fled. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No weapons were displayed during this incident. Shots Fired / Severn

On July 1, 2020 at approximately 12:20 a.m. officers responded for shots fired at a residence in the 8200 block of Tomlinson Court in Severn. The homeowner was in her house when she heard several loud bangs followed by the sound of glass breaking. The rear of the house was damaged from the gunshots. There was a possible injury to a juvenile upstairs however parents refused medical treatment. Officers recovered several spent shell casings in the backyard.
