Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash - Severna Park

On July 11, 2024, at approximately 1:05 p.m., officers responded to a single-vehicle crash at Jumpers Hole Road and Yorkshire Drive in Severna Park. The investigation revealed that the 2002 Jaguar XK8 was traveling west on Yorkshire Road when it left the roadway and struck a tree. The vehicle caught fire and came to rest on Jumpers Hole Road. The driver was taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center by the Anne Arundel County Fire Department and pronounced deceased while at the hospital. This crash is under investigation by the Traffic Safety Section.
