On July 12, 2021 at approximately 12:36 p.m. Western District officers responded to the 1800 block of Dove Court in Severn for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival officers located a parked vehicle with bullet holes in the passenger side door and window. An uninjured victim reported they were shot at multiple times by an unknown black male, with a thin build, wearing a black mask who fled on foot. The victim advised they ran inside of a residence when the incident occurred. Officers searched the area but were unable to find the suspect. Officers discovered two additional parked vehicles and three residences that were damaged along with a bag of marijuana and a handgun. No injuries were reported. This incident appears to be targeted and not a random act of violence.
