1st Degree Assault - Linthicum Heights

On July 15, 2022, at approximately 8:00 p.m., officers responded to a report of an assault at the BP Gas Station located at 6830 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Linthicum Heights. The employee was assaulted by a black male who pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at him after an argument over tobacco products. The suspect left in a silver BMW sedan bearing New Jersey registration.

Black male, dreadlocks and goatee, black t-shirt, multicolored shorts, brown shoes

CDS Violation - Brooklyn

On July 15, 2022, at approximately 9:30 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a moving violation in the area of Ritchie Highway and Hammonds Lane in Brooklyn. As officers approached the vehicle, they were met by the distinct odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. During a subsequent search of the vehicle, officers located approximately 4 grams of suspected crack-cocaine and 4 Oxycodone pills. During their investigation, officers learned that the passenger had an outstanding arrest warrant. Both the driver and passenger were arrested and charged accordingly.

On July 16, 2022, at approximately 9:00 p.m., officers responded to a report of an assault at the Ferndale Tavern at 7215 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Glen Burnie. Officers learned that a patron pulled a knife on other bar patrons. The armed suspect left the establishment on foot and was located a short distance away by responding officers. The suspect was uncooperative and refused to comply with commands. Ultimately, a taser was used to bring the armed suspect into custody. No bar patrons were injured in the assault.

Robbery (Business) - Glen Burnie

On July 17, 2022, at approximately 10:15 p.m., officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 7600 Ritchie Highway for a holdup alarm. Upon arrival, store employees advised a black male entered the business armed with a handgun. The suspect demanded money and fled the scene. Eastern District

Shooting (Non-contact) - Glen Burnie

On July 18, 2022, at approximately 10:00 p.m., officers responded to a report of shots being fired in the 400 block of Secluded Post Circle in Glen Burnie. Upon arrival, officers observed multiple shell casings on the ground along with several vehicles damaged by the projectiles. While in the area, officers were informed that one of the projectiles entered an occupied apartment. No injuries were reported as a result of the shooting. A canvas of the area was conducted with negative results. Shooting - Severn

On July 16, 2022, at approximately 3:00 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting victim who walked into a local emergency room in Glen Burnie. Officers learned that the 16-year-old victim was walking in the wooded area between Marlton Court and Pioneer Drive in Severn when he was shot by a subject that was unknown to him. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Officers canvased the area where the shooting was said to have occurred and were unsuccessful in locating a crime scene.
