Homicide - Brooklyn

On July 1, 2024, at approximately 9:20 p.m., officers responded to the area of Ritchie Highway and 4th Avenue in Brooklyn for what was originally dispatched as an injured/sick subject.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult female victim suffering from apparent stab wound(s) on a sidewalk. The victim, who has not been positively identified yet, was treated on the scene and then transported to Shock Trauma where she later died from her injuries. Preliminary information from witnesses indicates the female victim was in a verbal argument with a male suspect prior to the stabbing. When officers arrived, the male suspect was gone from the scene. The victim and suspect appear to have known each other and the incident appears to be targeted in nature.

Strong Arm Robbery (Citizen) - Glen Burnie

On July 1, 2024, at approximately 2:55 p.m., officers responded to Cromwell Park Drive in Glen Burnie for a citizen robbery that just occurred. Officers spoke with the adult male delivery driver who indicated he was delivering food to a customer when the suspect assaulted him and stole the food. The suspect fled the area on foot and was not located. Northern District detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-6135 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.
