Citizen Robbery / Glen Burnie

On July 18, 2020 at approximately 12:10 a.m. officers responded to the WaWa located at 7124 Ritchie Highway for a robbery of a citizen that occurred earlier. The victim was walking behind the business in the 6700 block of Ritchie Highway at 10:30 p.m. when he was approached by three unknown male suspects. One of the suspects punched the victim, knocking him to the ground. The suspects removed cash from the victim’s wallet and fled. The victim suffered a minor cut to his lip. Officers searched the area however did not locate any suspects. Northern District detectives are investigation this incident and ask anyone with information to contact 410-22-6135 or the TipLine 410-222-4700.

1) Black male, 5’0” with dreadlocks wearing white t-shirt and black shorts

2) Black male, 5’6” - 5’7” wearing dark clothing

3) Black male, 5’6” - 5’7” wearing dark clothing

On July 19, 2020 at approximately 5:20 p.m. officers responded for a robbery of a citizen at the Save-A-Lot store located at 4810 Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park. Two male victims were walking toward the rear of the store when they were approached by three juvenile male suspects. One of the suspects displayed a knife and demanded property from the victims. The suspects fled with property belonging to one of the victims. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate any suspects. 2) Black male, 17-18 YOA, 6’0”, wearing dark shirt, blue and red shorts

On July 19, 2020 at approximately 5:40 p.m. officers responded for a robbery of a citizen that occurred earlier in the area of 5009 Ritchie Highway. The adult male victim was walking toward Townsend Avenue at approximately 4:10 p.m. when he was punched in the back of the head by an unknown suspect who took property from him and fled. Officers did not locate any suspects. Northern District detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-6135 or the TipLine 410-222-4700.

CDS; Handgun Violation / Brooklyn

On July 20, 2020 at approximately 5:45 a.m. officers responded for a report of a suspicious person in a vehicle at the Comfort Inn located at 6921 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Brooklyn. Upon arrival, officers located the vehicle with a window smashed out and a subject sleeping in the passenger seat. Next to the subject was a suspected CDS “crack” pipe in plain view. Investigation resulted in the recovery of a loaded Davis Industries Model P-380.380 caliber semi-automatic handgun with 6 rounds, 46 grams of marijuana in two bags, a digital scale, and metal knuckles. It was determined the suspect is prohibited from possessing firearms and had an outstanding arrest warrant. The suspects identity may be released once formally charged.

Western District

Shooting / Hanover

On July 19, 2020 at approximately 5:15 a.m. officers responded to a parking lot in the 7000 block of Arundel Mills Circle for a report of a shooting. The victim had a verbal confrontation with a subject in an unknown vehicle. A witness heard a gunshot and the suspect vehicle fled the area. The adult male victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
