On July 21, 2023, at approximately 10:30 p.m., officers were conducting an investigation as a result of a traffic stop where the suspect vehicle fled from officers. Officers located the suspect vehicle in the area of Lodge Pole Court and Woodview Court in Arnold. Officers made contact with the driver of the suspect vehicle, and while speaking with the driver, officers observed a large quantity of suspected marijuana in plain view inside the passenger compartment of the suspect vehicle. During a subsequent search of the vehicle, officers located approximately 6.10 lbs of suspected Cannabis, 0.6 lbs of suspected Psilocybin mushrooms, 5.6 lbs of THC edibles, 22 THC cartridges, 46 disposable cannabis vapes, 300 grams of THC dabs, a digital scale and $425.00 in US currency. The driver was arrested and charged accordingly.

On July 22, 2023, at approximately 11:45 p.m., officers responded for a report of shots being heard in the 1400 block of Hayes Road in Annapolis. The complainant advised that after hearing what they initially thought were fireworks, they went outside and noticed that at least two vehicles had been shot and damaged. Evidence related to the shooting was discovered near the intersection of Hayes Road and Yorktown Road. There were no reports of physical injuries related to the shooting. On July 23, 2023, at approximately 1:00 a.m., officers responded for a report of shots being heard in the area of Kimwood Road and Heartwood Court in Arnold. Multiple callers advised that a tan/silver sedan was driving up and down Kimwood Road, and at least one occupant was firing a gun from the vehicle. Upon arrival, officers located two vehicles that were struck with projectiles. Evidence related to the shooting was located near the intersection. There were no reports of physical injuries related to the shooting.
