Attempted Burglary - Glen Burnie

On July 25, 2024, at approximately 12:40 a.m., a call was received in the 911 Communications Center for a report of two suspects attempting to break into the Exxon located at 720 Aquahart Road in Glen Burnie by kicking in the front door. An officer was monitoring the Computer Aided Dispatch system and saw the call entry. The officer began heading to the location before the call was dispatched and, upon arrival, located a suspect at the shattered front door. The suspect fled as the officer approached but was apprehended a short distance away. The second suspect was not located. Detectives assigned to the Northern District are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 40-222-6135 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.
