Northern District

Robbery / Harundale

On July 8, 2020 at approximately 12:35 a.m. officers responded for a robbery of a citizen on the B & A Trail between Aquahart Road and Kintop Road in Harundale. The adult male victim was walking along the trail when he was assaulted by four unknown suspects who demanded money from the victim.  The suspects fled when the suspects realized the victim had no money. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects. Northern District detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-6135.

Western District

Assault; Attempted Robbery (Arrest)/ Odenton

On July 7, 2020 at approximately 8:55 p.m. officers responded for a robbery and assault in progress in the 200 block of Cannon Ball Way in Odenton. A 16-year-old female and 13-year-old male were approached by three juvenile suspects. One of the suspects pressed a knife against the 13-year-old’s stomach and demanded money. A 31-year-old female and 38-year-old male exited a nearby residence when they heard the commotion and noticed three tires had been slashed to their car trailer. They confronted the suspects who were attempting to rob the juvenile victims. One of the suspects grabbed the adult female victim and held a knife to her chest and threatened her. The suspect then released the adult female and all three suspects fled. Responding officers observed the suspects running from the scene.  After a brief foot pursuit, officers were able to apprehend all three suspects. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. Anyone who may have witnessed this incident is asked to contact the Western District Detective Unit at 410-222-6155.

 

Western District

CDS Violation (Arrest) / Laurel

 

On July 7, 2020 Western District narcotics detectives were investigating recent complaints of CDS distribution activity in the area of the 3300 block of laurel Fort Meade Road in Laurel when they observed a male suspect, later identified as Waverly Irving Bryant, enter a hotel room at the Travel Lodge and then exit a minute later.. The male then unlawfully crossed the highway.  As the detectives approached, the suspect pulled his hand from his pocket and threw something to the ground. Detectives recovered the item which was identified as a bottle containing suspected PCP. The suspect was apprehended and charged accordingly. Detectives obtained a search warrant for the hotel room involved.  Upon executing the warrant, detectives recovered a small amount of PCP, paraphernalia, 289.44 grams of suspected CDS (sent for analysis) and $10,000 U.S. currency. The room was occupied by two suspects, Mosby and Adams, who were taken into custody.
