On June 11, 2024, at approximately 7:50 a.m., officers met with a victim with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to an extremity at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore. The investigation revealed that the victim accidentally shot himself while parked at a Sunoco gas station located at 816 Nursery Road in Linthicum. The male was driven by a friend to the hospital. The investigation by Northern District Detectives led to a search of the vehicle, a blue 2002 Ford Mustang, resulting in the seizure of the following:
- Bersa .380 handgun, obliterated serial number, loaded w/ 8 rounds
- Taurus .380 handgun, obliterated serial number, loaded w/ 8 rounds
- 1 spent .380 casing
- Approximately 503 grams of suspected cannabis
- Approximately 81 grams (over 200 pills) of suspected MDMA
- Approximately 14 grams of suspected crack cocaine
- Large bag containing packaged suspected heroin/fentanyl, “crack” cocaine, and loose unknown powdery substance (suspected heroin/fentanyl).
- Approximately 102 grams of unknown pressed pills
- Approximately 150 grams of suspected Methadone
The male was arrested and charged.

Robbery (Commercial) - Linthicum

On June 12, 2024, at approximately 1:20 a.m., officers responded for a commercial robbery at the Checkers restaurant at 6899 B&A Boulevard in Linthicum. A black male wearing dark clothing entered the business, pressed a handgun against the employee, and demanded cash. The employee complied, and the suspect fled. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Weapons; CDS Violation - Glen Burnie

On June 12, 2024, at approximately 11:40 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a gray 2010 Dodge Caravan in the 6700 block of Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie. A .40 caliber handgun, approximately 178 grams of suspected cannabis, and approximately two grams of suspected crack cocaine were located and seized during the stop. The driver and passenger were arrested and charged.

1st Degree Assault; Hate Crime - Brooklyn

On June 12, 2024, at approximately 4:50 p.m., officers responded to the area of Marshall Road and 8th Avenue in Brooklyn for an assault. The investigation revealed the occupants of two vehicles were involved in a road rage incident. During the incident, one party used racially offensive language toward the other. Both vehicles came to a stop on Marshall Road in Brooklyn, and a white male suspect assaulted the 24-year-old black male victim. The suspect pointed a handgun at the victim, then retrieved a hammer and smashed out the side window of the victim’s 2021 Toyota Corolla. The suspect was arrested and charged. Officers recovered the hammer and BB gun used in the assault.

On June 12, 2024, at approximately 11:15 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a white 2007 Chevrolet Impala in the 400 block of Woodlake Court in Glen Burnie. During the stop, the driver and passenger fled on foot. The driver was apprehended. However, officers did not locate the passenger. The driver was found to have an open arrest warrant and was placed into custody. A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of the following:
Polymer 80 handgun loaded with eight rounds of ammunition
46 rounds of ammunition
Approximately 100 grams of suspected Cannabis
