Shots Fired / Glen Burnie

On June 13, 2020 at approximately 9:00 p.m. officers responded for a report of shots fired in the unit block of Ivy Lane in Glen Burnie. Callers reported shots were fired from an unknown vehicle and from an unknown individual on foot. The vehicle immediately left the area and the individual on foot also fled. Witnesses stated there was an altercation in the street prior to the shots being fired. A blue Hyundai Sonata parked on the street sustained what appeared to be projectile damage. Officers also located a fence and a tree with possible projectile damage in the area. There were no reports of injuries as a result of this incident. Northern District detectives are investigating and asking anyone with information to contact 410-222-6135 or the TipLine 410-222-4700.

Citizen Robbery (Arrest) / Glen Burnie

On June 14, 2020 at approximately 12:55 a.m. officers responded for a robbery of a citizen that occurred in the 7300 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Glen Burnie. The victim was walking along Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard near 8th Avenue when he was approached by three males riding bicycles. One of the males displayed a knife and removed property from the victim. Responding officers located the suspects who were positively identified by the victim. One adult and two juveniles were arrested and charged accordingly. Robbery / Brooklyn

On June 14, 2020 at 10:20 p.m. officers responded for a robbery that occurred in the 5500 block of Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn. The victim was delivering pizza on a bicycle when he was approached by two unknown male suspects who pushed the victim off of the bicycle, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the victim. The victim complied and the suspect fled in a grey sedan driven by a third unknown suspect. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle or suspects.
