Destruction of Property / Shooting (Non-contact) - Linthicum

On June 21, 2022, at approximately 1:00 a.m., officers responded for a report of shots being fired in the 5100 block of Raynor Avenue in Linthicum. During the course of the investigation, several spent casings were located, and an unoccupied vehicle was struck by projectiles. No injuries were reported. On June 20, 2022, at approximately 11:45 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a registration violation in the area of Annapolis Road and Blue Water Boulevard in Odenton. Officers detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. During a subsequent search of the vehicle, officers located approximately 22 grams of suspected marijuana and a loaded .40 caliber handgun. The driver was arrested and charged accordingly.

On June 20, 2022, at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation in the area of Village Square Court and Laketowne Court in Severn. Officers detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. During a subsequent search of the vehicle, officers located a loaded .40 caliber handgun in the passenger compartment. The driver was arrested and charged accordingly.
