Weapon/CDS Violation/Glen Burnie

On June 3rd, 2021 at approximately 11:41 p.m. Northern District officers observed a red Volkswagen Jetta fail to stop at a stop sign and conducted a traffic stop in the area of Crilley Road and Faywood Avenue in Glen Burnie. Officers spoke with the driver and information was received resulting in a search of the vehicle. Officers located a small amount of suspected marijuana and crack-cocaine. A search of the driver revealed a tan P80 handgun with an extended magazine inside his front waistband. A search of the passenger resulted in 4 pink and 2 yellow pills suspected to be Oxycodone. Both occupants were arrested and charged.
