Western District
CDS Violation (Arrest), Odenton
Over the past several weeks, the Western District received information regarding possible CDS distribution at a residence on Holiday Street in Odenton. The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant on March 1, 2019. As a result of the search warrant the following items were recovered:
- 111.75 grams of Marijuana (est. street value $2235.00)
- 72.1 grams of THC Wax (in containers); est street value $2100.00)
- 88 grams of THC Oil (est. street value $4400.00)
- 31 Suboxone strips (est. street value $775.00)
- 950.00 US Currency seized
- 2 Loaded Glock handguns w/ magazines (9mm/10mm)
- Several 9mm/10mm rounds
- Several 12 gauge and 30-06 shells
- Digital Scale
- CDS Paraphernalia
The below listed suspect, Brandon Nicholas Young, was located within the residence and arrested. He was transported to Western District for booking and has been charged with CDS possession, distribution and weapons related offenses.

Eastern District
Burglary/Theft (Arrest), Millersville/Severna Park
Four residential burglaries were reported in Millersville and Severna Park between February 8, 2019 and February 26, 2019. These overnight burglaries occurred on Faircastle Avenue, Saddleback Court, Downing Drive, and Thistledown Court. Homeowners reported that an unknown suspect entered open garage doors and stole property and cash from vehicles. In some cases, homeowners reported that the suspect had entered the interior of residences from the garage through unlocked interior doors. The investigation resulted in the identification of Michael Gustave Snyder as a suspect in these cases. He was arrested on February 28, 2019 and charged with multiple counts of burglary and theft. Community members are reminded to lock doors to their homes.
