On March 7, 2025, at approximately 6:40 p.m., officers responded for a non-contact shooting that occurred in the 900 block of Reece Road in Severn. A tow truck operator arrived at the scene of a tow request and was approached by the adult female suspect who requested the tow. The female began berating the tow operator and arguing about his response time. The tow truck driver declined to tow the vehicle and started to drive away when the female fired one round from a handgun, striking his truck. The female fled in a black sedan. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. Detectives assigned to the Western District are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-6155.
