CDS Distribution / Search Warrant & Arrest - Annapolis
On March 14, 2019 the Major Offenders Unit (MOU) concluded a three month investigation into CDS distribution occurring in the Edgewater/Annapolis area of Anne Arundel County. At 7:00 a.m., the MOU, with assistance from the Annapolis City Police Department, Anne Arundel County Police Opioid Task Force and DEA, executed a search warrant in the unit block of Maryland Avenue in Annapolis, Maryland. Located inside the residence were the following items:
- Several bags containing suspected cocaine (454.04 grams - estimated street value $45,404.00)
- Several tabs of paper suspected LSD (55.5 grams)
- 247 Alprazolam pills (estimated street value $2470.00)
- MDMA (2,106.33 grams - estimated street value $210,600.00)
- 176 THC cartridges
- U.S. Currency
- Money Counter
- CDS paraphernalia (bags, heat sealer, cutting agent, scales)
Detectives then responded to two storage units located in the Edgewater/Annapolis area and executed two additional search warrant owned by the suspect. Located in the storage units were the following:
- safe containing a large amount of U.S. currency
- Several bags containing MDMA (522.27 grams - estimated street value $52,000.00)
- 587 Alprazolam pills (estimated street value $5870.00)
