Robbery (Commercial) - Gambrills

On March 14, 2025, at approximately 12:20 p.m., officers responded for a robbery of the Rack Room Shoes located at 2640 Chapel Lake Drive in Gambrills. A male and female suspect began to exit the store with a large amount of merchandise that was not paid for. When confronted by the store manager, the suspects threatened him with pepper spray and fled in a blue Infiniti sedan. Discharging of Firearm - Hanover

On March 14, 2025, at approximately 12:40 p.m., officers responded to the area of Route 100 West and Arundel Mills Boulevard in Hanover for a report of shots fired. The complainant advised that while traveling on Route 100, a gray Volvo SUV occupied by five unknown individuals discharged a firearm three to four times toward the median. There were no other vehicles in the area at the time. A canvass of the scene for evidence yielded negative results. Shooting (Non-Contact) - Hanover

On March 16, 2025, at approximately 12:50 a.m., officers working secondary employment at Dave and Buster’s, located at 7000 Arundel Mills Mall in Hanover, were escorting a large group from the establishment when a fight was reported inside the main bar area. During the altercation, an officer heard a gunshot and observed two males fighting, one of whom was armed with a handgun. The officer was able to take the suspect into custody without further incident. The investigation revealed that the handgun was discharged into the floor during the struggle. A Glock Model 23,.40 caliber semi-automatic handgun was recovered. No injuries were reported. Attempted Robbery (Commercial) - Annapolis

On March 14, 2025, at approximately 9:20 p.m., officers rescinded for a robbery of the 7-Eleven located at 71 Bestgate Road in Annapolis. A male suspect dressed in all black entered the store holding what appeared to be a rifle. The clerk spoke to the suspect, at which point the suspect raised the gun and pointed it at the clerk. Before the suspect could say anything, the clerk ran into the office and contacted the police. The suspect fled. Responding officers observed a male fitting the suspect's description and detained him. The suspect was positively identified and found to be in possession of a replica rifle. He was arrested and charged.
