Recovered Human Remains Glen Burnie
On March 18, 2019 at approximately 5:30 a.m., the Anne Arundel County Fire Department received notification of a brush fire in the area of Sycamore Drive and Ritchie Highway South. Upon arrival they discovered an RV style vehicle completely engulfed in flames. Once they extinguished the fire they located male human remains. Homicide detectives, fire marshals, and a forensic investigator from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner all responded. As of this time the age, race and cause of death has yet to be determined. It is unknown if the death is criminal or accidental in nature.

Commercial Armed Robbery (ARREST UPDATE) Annapolis
On March 7, 2019 at approximately 1:55 p.m., officers responded for an armed robbery at Franklin's Toys located at 2327 Forest Drive in Annapolis. An unknown male suspect entered the business, displayed a handgun and demanded cash from the register. The employee complied and the suspect fled the store. Officers searched the area however were unable to locate the suspect. The store was unoccupied at the time of the robbery with the exception of the store employees and the suspect. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
Suspect: Black male, early 60’s, beard/unshaven, glasses, average height and weight wearing dark clothing
UPDATE:
Through investigation, robbery detectives were able to positively identify the suspect from this robbery. A warrant was obtained charging the suspect with this robbery. The suspect is currently incarcerated in Washington DC on an unrelated robbery.
