Carjacking - Brooklyn Park

On March 23, 2022, at approximately 8:40 p.m., officers responded for a report of a carjacking in the 900 block of 1st Street in Brooklyn Park. Two black male suspects, armed with handguns, approached a 25-year-old male and demanded his car keys. The victim complied and the suspects fled in the victim’s vehicle, a blue 2006 Acura TL. The victim was unable to provide any further description of the suspects. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. On March 23, 2022, at approximately 11:20 a.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop on a silver Honda occupied by two individuals in the area of Heritage Hill drive and Centennial Circle in Glen Burnie. During the stop, a search based on probable cause resulted in the seizure of approximately 10.99 grams of suspected Marijuana, approximately 13.52 grams of suspected Heroin, approximately 43.36 grams of suspected Crack Cocaine, and $486.00 US currency. The vehicle occupants were arrested and charged accordingly.
