Assault - Glen Burnie

On March 3, 2023, School Resource Officers at Glen Burnie High School were advised of an assault that occurred in the school parking lot on March 2, 2023. The victims were seated in a car in the parking lot when one suspect approached and verbally confronted the victims. Another suspect arrived in a white vehicle. Both suspects began assaulting the victims. One of the victims received a superficial cut to his torso by a knife during the assault. No medical attention was needed for the cut. One of the suspects threatened to shoot the victims. Both suspects were positively identified, one suspect (juvenile) was charged on a juvenile citation, and for the second suspect (adult), an application for charges was submitted.

Search Warrant - Odenton

After a months-long investigation, on March 3, 2023, at approximately 5:45 a.m. detectives from the Western District Tactical Patrol Unit and Tactical Narcotics Team with the assistance of the Quick Response Team executed a search warrant in the 200 block of Saint Michaels Circle in Odenton. Detectives recovered the following items: 1 modified-length shotgun, 4 semi-automatic handguns, approximately 62g of suspected cocaine, approximately 30g of suspected psilocybin mushrooms, approximately 266g of suspected marijuana, 2 digital scales, and $10,087 in US currency. The following suspects were arrested and charged accordingly:

On March 4, 2023, at approximately 6:15 p.m., officers responded to the Cinemark entrance for a report of an armed subject. The officers met with four victims who stated they had been involved in a verbal altercation with two suspects. During the argument, one of the suspects displayed a handgun in his waistband. The suspect then gave the handgun to the second suspect. The handgun was not pointed at any of the victims. The suspects fled in a dark sedan. Officers searched the area but did not locate the suspects. 1st Degree Assault - Annapolis  (UPDATE)

On March 4, 2023, at approximately 9:15 p.m., officers responded for a report of an armed subject with a gun at the Annapolis Mall, 2002 Annapolis Mall in Annapolis. The complainant advised that the incident occurred inside the mall in front of the Kids Foot Locker. The complainant described the suspect as a black male, early 20’s wearing a black ski mask, black jacket with white stripes, and black pants. Two other subjects (no further description) wearing ski masks accompanied the suspect. There was an alleged verbal argument between the suspect and the victim just prior to the firearm being produced by the suspect. As the complainant attempted to notify the police, the suspect, his associates, and the victim left the area on foot. Officers canvased the area and were unable to locate either party. UPDATE

On March 6, 2023, Southern District detectives were able to positively identify the suspect in this incident. However, the victim has yet to come forward and the investigation is still open.
